Our Five-Year Standard Powder Coating Guarantee:

We proudly offer a five-year guarantee covering corrosion from the inside out, paint fading and surface lifting. Our detailed work process includes thorough blast cleaning, precise masking, zinc-rich powder coat primer application, and a topcoat finish.

Cerkote items:

-We recommend regularly cleaning items coated with Cerakote ceramic coatings using appropriate products, such as standard car shampoo. Promptly removing road salt and contaminants is also essential. Please avoid using cleaners containing acids or abrasive products such as T-cut, as these can damage the coating.    Be mindful that exposed items may be affected by road debris, grit, and tyre spray, potentially impacting the surface colour over time. We suggest applying a plasma base coat to exposed parts for optimised protection.

Cast Iron / Mild Steel Items:

We offer an optional alloy plasma metallisation coat to ensure our two-year guarantee for cast iron or mild steel products (such as manifolds and turbo housings).  Applying this extra coat helps minimise heat loss and effectively conceals some corrosion damage after our blast cleaning process. That may result in a slightly textured (sandpaper-like) finish.

Our warranty provides excellent surface lifting and burning coverage when applying a suitable high-temperature coating from our selected product range. One year as standard (subject to condition). Two years when opting for a base plasma coat

At Maldon Shot Blasting & Powder Coating Ltd, we emphasize quality over cost, which may result in higher prices than competitors. Nevertheless, choosing our services ensures a dependable, durable finish with long-term rewards.

Please don’t worry. We will inform you of any concerns during the work process and give you the best recommendations for moving forward. Your satisfaction and the durability of your products are our top priorities!

Additional Information:

– Our warranties do not cover accidental damage or staining from road pollution, road salt, burnt-on road tar, or heavy grit impact.
– Warranties apply only to items in good and sound condition before any work commences.
