BEAD BLASTING PROCESS
Bead blasting is a process in which small spheres of glass or other abrasive material are blasted at high pressure against a surface. Ideal for removing rust, paint, or other debris from the metal surface.
Ideal for delicate substrates
Blasting with Plastic Media prevents damage to delicate substrates and is therefore an excellent alternative to hard abrasives as well as chemical stripping.
bead blasting grades
Here are some options of the various grades of bead blast media:
- Sa 1 – Light blast cleaning.
- Sa 2 – Thorough blast cleaning.
- Sa 2½ – Very thorough blast cleaning.
- Sa 3 – Blast cleaning to visually clean steel.
